A family in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, is looking for a warm and experienced nanny to care for their 3-year-old child. The child attends nursery three mornings a week, and the nanny will take responsibility for the rest of the week as well as nursery routines and transitions. The family follows a gentle, child-led approach and would like someone who is happy to support this style of care throughout the child’s daily routine. Both parents work from home, so the nanny should be comfortable working independently while keeping communication with the parents clear and easy. The role will focus on the child’s routine, development, and day-to-day life, with plenty of opportunities for play, learning, outdoor time, reading, creative activities, and age-appropriate outings. The nanny will also prepare meals and snacks, manage the child’s belongings, and keep their bedroom and play areas tidy. A full driving licence is essential, and the nanny must be comfortable driving an automatic car for nursery runs, activities, and local outings. The family is looking for someone calm, reliable, and proactive who can provide consistent care while following the child’s individual interests and pace. The position is Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with a salary of £45,000–£50,000 per year depending on experience.
