A Russian family in Vandoeuvres, Switzerland, is looking for a French-speaking governess to support their 2-year-old son ahead of his start at a French school in September 2027. He currently has no French, so the main focus of the role will be helping him learn the language through play, conversation and everyday interaction. The governess will create a fun and natural French-speaking environment and help him build confidence before starting school. A teaching qualification is required for this position. A Russian-speaking nanny is already employed, and the governess will work closely with her as part of the childcare team. The family also has a 2-week-old baby girl who has her own nanny. Care of the baby will not be required. The family travels frequently and would like the governess to accompany them on most trips. Separate accommodation can be provided. This is a Monday to Friday position from 9am to 7pm. There is a lunch break during the child’s nap. The position is available from ASAP until August 2027. Candidates must have an EU passport or a Swiss work permit and must be self-employed.
