A family in Stoke Newington, London, N16 is seeking an experienced Night Maternity Nurse to provide expert overnight care and support during the first weeks with their newborn. The ideal candidate is calm, knowledgeable, and confident caring for newborns while helping parents rest and recover during the postpartum period. Responsibilities include all aspects of overnight newborn care, including feeding support, diaper changes, settling and soothing the baby, monitoring the baby’s well-being, encouraging healthy sleep routines, and providing practical guidance and reassurance to the family when appropriate.
This is a 12-week self-employed contract beginning on 3rd December. The schedule is seven nights per week for the first two weeks, with 10-hour overnight shifts, followed by four nights per week for the remaining 10 weeks, also with 10-hour overnight shifts. The family is offering £25 gross per hour.
