A family in Barnes, SW13 is looking for an experienced full-time nanny to care for their three children. The two older children attend school full-time, so the role is primarily focused on caring for the family’s toddler during the day, before collecting the older children in the afternoon. The family is hoping to find someone who is warm, organised, and full of initiative; someone who enjoys the toddler years just as much as supporting older children with their routines and activities.
This is a varied role that combines hands-on childcare with keeping the children’s days running smoothly. The ideal nanny will love planning age-appropriate activities, encouraging learning through play, and helping the toddler reach new developmental milestones. A confident driver is essential for school runs, activities, and outings, and the family would love someone who enjoys getting the children out and about, whatever the weather.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, nurturing care for the family’s 2-year-old during the day.
Manage school drop-offs and pick-ups for the older children.
Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and development.
Take the children to parks, classes, clubs, and other activities.
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Support homework and after-school routines for the older children.
Keep the children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings tidy and organised.
Complete child-related household duties, including the children’s laundry where needed.
Maintain a safe, structured, and happy environment for all three children.
Requirements:
Confident driver with a valid driving licence.
Previous experience caring for toddlers and school-aged children.
Warm, reliable, and organised with a proactive approach to childcare.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6:30pm
Compensation: £15–£16 net per hour, depending on experience.
