A family in San Bruno, CA is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to provide expert overnight support during the first weeks with their newborn. The ideal candidate is highly knowledgeable in essential newborn care and confident establishing healthy sleep routines while teaching and empowering both parents with practical newborn care skills, guidance, and reassurance. Responsibilities include all aspects of overnight newborn care, including feeding support, diaper changes, soothing, monitoring the baby’s well-being, maintaining a safe sleep environment, and helping the family build confidence as they adjust to life with their new baby. This is an eight-week temporary assignment beginning at the start of October. The schedule is six nights per week, 8-hour overnight shifts. Candidates must be fully vaccinated, including TDAP, TB, COVID-19, recommended boosters, and the seasonal flu vaccine. The family is offering $40-$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that only local Bay Area candidates will be considered, as relocation assistance is not available.
