A family in Ross, CA is seeking an experienced full-time Infant Nanny to provide attentive, nurturing care for their baby. Their ideal candidate is a professional nanny with a strong understanding of infant development who enjoys supporting babies through their early milestones in a calm, engaging, and loving environment. The family is looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and passionate about creating developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage learning and growth from the very beginning.
The nanny will be responsible for planning engaging age-appropriate activities, supporting developmental milestones and transitions, and managing all child-related responsibilities, including preparing and washing bottles, introducing and preparing baby-friendly solids, baby laundry, and keeping the nursery and play areas tidy and organized. Flexibility to travel with the family 3–5 times per year, both domestically and internationally, is required.
Requirements:
Previous professional experience caring for infants in a private household
Strong knowledge of infant development, routines, and developmental milestones
Newborn care experience or certification preferred
Experience introducing solids and preparing healthy, baby-friendly meals
CPR certification (required)
Current TB and Tdap vaccinations (required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Reliable personal vehicle available for work-related driving
Flexible and willing to travel domestically and internationally 3–5 times per year
Warm, nurturing, organized, and proactive with excellent communication skills
Local candidates only (no relocation assistance available)
This is a full-time position, 5 days per week (40 hours/week), offering $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience, along with benefits (paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays).
