This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised, and dependable childcare professional who enjoys working with school-aged children while helping a busy household run smoothly. The family is looking for someone who can provide a nurturing and structured environment, encourage independence, and support the children’s learning and development through engaging activities and positive daily routines.
The role includes school pick-ups, supervising homework, planning fun and age-appropriate activities, transporting the children to extracurricular activities when needed, and preparing healthy snacks and simple meals. Family assistant responsibilities may include light household organisation, grocery shopping, running errands, organising children’s belongings, and helping with other child-related tasks to support the family’s day-to-day routine. The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, and enjoy balancing childcare with practical household support.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, with working hours of either 12:00 pm–6:00 pm or 1:00 pm–7:00 pm, depending on the family’s needs. The position offers $30 per hour. September start.
