A family in Sarasota, FL is seeking a caring and experienced Portuguese-speaking nanny to care for their two daughters, ages 3 years and 8 months. The family is looking for a nurturing professional who will naturally incorporate Portuguese into the children’s daily routine through conversation, play, and everyday activities. Dad works from home, so the ideal candidate is confident working independently while maintaining open communication with the family. Responsibilities include providing attentive care for both children, planning engaging age-appropriate activities, supporting the baby’s feeding and nap schedule, encouraging the toddler’s learning and development through play, preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children, and maintaining consistent daily routines. Additional duties include children’s laundry, washing bottles, keeping the nursery and play areas clean and organised, and handling all child-related tasks. The family is looking for someone reliable, proactive, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development. No weekend work or travel is required.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Compensation: $30 per hour.
