A family in Presidio Heights, San Francisco is seeking two experienced ROTA nannies to join their fully staffed household. The family is open to either a 7 days on/7 days off schedule or a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation, depending on the right candidates. During working rotations, the nanny will live in at the family’s home, returning to a live-out arrangement while off duty. This is an exceptional long-term opportunity for professional career nannies with newborn experience, previous ROTA or live-in nanny experience, and a genuine appreciation for working as part of a collaborative household team.
The family is looking for someone who brings a calm, positive energy and takes pride in providing outstanding childcare. They value nannies who are kind, highly organised, safety-conscious, discreet, and excellent communicators. Experience in a fully staffed home is important, as you’ll be working closely with parents and household staff to ensure seamless care.
While local San Francisco candidates are preferred, outstanding candidates who meet the family’s requirements will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional, attentive care for the family’s child, with a strong focus on safety, nurturing, and development.
Maintain consistent routines and support age-appropriate developmental milestones.
Plan engaging activities that encourage learning, play, and exploration.
Work collaboratively with parents and household staff to ensure smooth day-to-day care.
Travel with the family when required.
Keep children’s areas organised and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
Communicate clearly with the second ROTA nanny to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of care between rotations.
Requirements:
Previous newborn care experience.
Experience working as a ROTA nanny or live-in nanny.
Experience in a fully staffed household.
TrustLine certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications.
Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
Valid passport for travel.
Professional, discreet, organised, and able to work as part of a team.
Schedule: Open to 7 days on/7 days off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, with live-in accommodation provided during working rotations.
Compensation: Up to $200,000 per year, plus comprehensive healthcare benefits and a 401(k) retirement plan.
