An international family is seeking an experienced, developmentally focused live-in nanny to join them in Berlin, Germany, from March 2027. The family is looking for someone who can establish a warm, nurturing environment while supporting the baby’s growth through consistent routines, engaging activities, and attentive day-to-day care.
The nanny will be responsible for establishing and maintaining healthy feeding, sleeping, and daily routines, while encouraging the baby’s development through sensory play, movement, weaning, and other age-appropriate activities. Responsibilities also include researching and organising local classes and outings, accompanying the family on trips when required, undertaking all nursery duties, and working closely with the parents to ensure a consistent approach to the child’s care and development. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and knowledgeable about infant development, with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting babies during their first year.
The position is Monday to Friday, working 10–12 hours per day. Private live-in accommodation is available if required. Salary is €60,000–€80,000 per year, depending on experience, paid fully on the books. Applicants must already have the legal right to live and work in Germany, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
