A family based in Ripley, Derbyshire (DE5) is seeking an experienced live-in or live-out nanny to care for their twin babies. This is a childcare-focused role, ideal for a warm, organised, and proactive nanny with experience caring for young children and a genuine passion for early childhood development. The family is looking for someone who can provide attentive, nurturing care while creating a stimulating environment that encourages the twins to grow in confidence and reach important developmental milestones.
The nanny will be responsible for planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, supporting the children’s learning and development through play, and taking them on outings, walks, swimming classes, and other enriching activities. Daily responsibilities also include preparing nutritious meals and batch cooking for the children, changing nappies, maintaining established routines, managing the children’s laundry, and ensuring their bedrooms, play areas, and belongings are kept clean, organised, and well maintained. All usual nursery duties will form part of the role, with the focus remaining on providing exceptional care and supporting the children’s development.
The position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and offers £45,000–£55,000 per year, depending on experience and whether the role is live-in or live-out.
