A first-time family in Clapham, London is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Night Maternity Nurse to provide compassionate overnight support during the early weeks with their newborn. The family is looking for a calm and confident professional who can care for their baby throughout the night while giving mum the opportunity to rest and recover. The ideal candidate will have extensive newborn experience, offer practical guidance and reassurance, and help the parents build confidence as they adjust to life with their first baby. The family is also keen to establish healthy sleep foundations from the beginning and would value gentle, evidence-based advice tailored to their baby’s needs. Responsibilities include all overnight newborn care, supporting feeding routines, settling the baby, monitoring the baby’s well-being, and ensuring a peaceful environment throughout the night. This is a six-week contract beginning in August. The schedule is three nights per week, from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position offers £25 gross per hour.
