A private family in Westchester County is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to provide exceptional, developmentally focused care for their newborn. This is a long-term opportunity for a calm, knowledgeable, and professional caregiver who is passionate about supporting infants through the early stages of development. The family is looking for someone who can bring confidence, warmth, and a gentle approach while helping establish healthy routines in a quiet, well-managed household.
The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday during daytime hours, and take the lead on all newborn-related care, supporting feeding, sleep routines, developmental milestones, and the baby’s overall wellbeing. Discretion and professionalism are essential, as is the ability to work independently while maintaining open communication with the family. The role also includes occasional domestic and international travel, along with driving responsibilities using a family-provided vehicle. The family is open to both live-in and live-out candidates and offers a competitive hourly rate of $35–$40 per hour, together with an excellent benefits package.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Newborn Care Specialist or extensive professional newborn care experience.
Strong knowledge of infant development, feeding, sleep routines, and early milestones.
Calm, confident, and nurturing approach to newborn care.
Professional, discreet, and experienced working in private households.
Valid driver’s license and confident driving using a family-provided vehicle.
Available for occasional domestic and international travel.
Open to either a live-in or live-out arrangement.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Available to start in August 2026.
