A warm and busy family in Purchase, New York is seeking an experienced, proactive Full-Time Nanny to care for their four children, ranging in age from a newborn to older siblings. This is a long-term, live-out position for a confident childcare professional who enjoys working in a dynamic household and can provide a calm, organised presence throughout the day. The ideal candidate will establish consistent routines, encourage age-appropriate activities, and ensure each child receives attentive, nurturing care while working collaboratively with the parents and other caregivers.
The schedule is Monday to Friday within a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM coverage window, with flexibility based on the family’s needs. Responsibilities include managing daily routines, preparing children’s meals, planning engaging activities, supporting bedtime routines when required, and staying one step ahead by taking initiative with child-related preparation and organisation during quieter moments. Open communication with both parents is highly valued, as is the ability to work as part of a team in a fully supported household. The family spends approximately two months each summer in the Hamptons, where live-in accommodation will be provided, along with an overnight rate of $150–$200 per night. The position offers $40+ per hour, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements:
Significant professional nanny experience, including newborn care.
Confident caring for multiple children of different ages.
