A busy family based in Belsize Park, London is looking for a reliable and proactive Nanny / Family Assistant to help support their household and care for their two children, aged 4 and 6. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day and is equally comfortable caring for children, preparing healthy meals, and helping keep family life running smoothly behind the scenes.
The family is seeking a warm, hands-on individual who can take initiative and become a trusted part of their weekly routine. The children are at school during part of the day, so this role offers a nice balance of childcare and family assistant duties. From preparing nutritious meals and running errands to walking the family dog and helping with after-school care, no two days will look exactly the same. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and genuinely enjoy supporting a busy household.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care and supervision for two children aged 4 and 6
Assist with school pick-ups and after-school routines
Prepare healthy family meals and snacks
Organize children’s belongings and help maintain tidy play and living areas
Run household errands, including shopping and other family-related tasks
Take responsibility for the family’s daily dog walk
Support the smooth running of the household through proactive assistance
Help coordinate children’s schedules, activities, and appointments when required
Create a positive, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Nanny, Family Assistant, or similar role
Confident preparing healthy, family-style meals
Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
Comfortable with dogs and daily dog walking
Excellent communication and time-management skills
Reliable, flexible, and professional
Strong references from previous employers

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–6:00pm
Salary: £17 net per hour
