A lovely family based in St John’s Wood, London is seeking a highly qualified and experienced nanny to care for their three children, aged 3, 7, and 10 years. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional childcare practitioner holding a Norland, NNEB, or CACHE Level 3 qualification who enjoys working with school-aged children and can confidently manage busy schedules, educational support, and day-to-day routines. The family is looking for a warm, proactive, and organized nanny who can provide a structured, nurturing environment while encouraging the children’s independence and development.
The role involves overseeing the children’s daily routines, coordinating school runs, accompanying them to extracurricular activities, and planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that support their social and emotional growth. The nanny will also assist with homework, organize playdates, prepare healthy meals for the children, and ensure their belongings, bedrooms, and play areas remain tidy and well organized. Child-related housekeeping duties are included, and the successful candidate should be comfortable travelling with the family when required. This position offers a consistent schedule of Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 7:30pm, with the opportunity to become a valued long-term member of the household.
Requirements:
Norland Diploma, NNEB, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent childcare qualification
Previous professional nanny experience with multiple children
Experience caring for children aged 3–10 years
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
Ability to support homework and school-related responsibilities
Experience managing school runs and extracurricular schedules
Confident organizing playdates and social activities
Comfortable preparing healthy meals for children
Willingness to undertake child-related housekeeping duties
Flexible and available to travel with the family when required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong professional references and enhanced DBS check
