A family in Tampa, Florida is seeking an experienced, development-focused nanny to provide attentive care for their three children, ages 8 months to 5 years. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional nanny who is passionate about supporting children’s growth through age-appropriate learning, creative play, and engaging developmental activities. The family maintains a fully staffed household, allowing the nanny to focus primarily on childcare and fostering a nurturing, enriching environment for the children.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and confident managing the varying needs of infants and young children. Responsibilities include planning educational and recreational activities, supporting developmental milestones, assisting with school and activity transportation, maintaining children’s routines, and collaborating closely with parents and household staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offering consistency and work-life balance. Occasional light travel will be required. A nanny vehicle will be provided while on duty.
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of professional nanny experience with infants and young children
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
Experience working in fully staffed or private households preferred
Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
Comfortable driving children; nanny car provided during working hours
Willingness to travel occasionally with the family
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Authorized to work in the United States
Must currently reside within commuting distance of Tampa, FL (live-out position only)
No relocation candidates will be considered
Salary: $80,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience
