A private family based in Charlottenburg, Berlin is seeking an experienced bilingual German and English speaking nanny to care for their 2-year-old child in a full-time role. The child attends kindergarten, and the family is looking for a professional nanny who can provide attentive care, support early development, and create a stimulating environment that encourages learning through play and everyday experiences.
Responsibilities include kindergarten drop-offs and pick-ups, planning engaging activities, supporting developmental milestones, preparing healthy meals for the child, and ensuring all child-related areas, including bedrooms, play spaces, clothing, and equipment, remain clean, organised, and well maintained.
The ideal candidate will be confident communicating in both German and English, helping the child develop and maintain both languages naturally throughout the day. The family travels regularly and would like a nanny who is happy to accompany them when required. The family is open to both live-in and live-out candidates and can accommodate either arrangement for the right person.
This position is Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and would suit a reliable, energetic, and organised childcare professional with previous experience caring for toddlers in a private household setting.
