A lovely family based in Lafayette, California is seeking an experienced and dependable nanny to care for their two children, aged 2 and 5, in a long-term afternoon role starting in August.
Responsibilities include school and daycare pick-ups, supervising afternoon routines, planning age-appropriate activities, assisting with homework or learning opportunities for the older child when needed, preparing healthy snacks and simple meals, and ensuring the children are happy, safe, and well cared for throughout the afternoon and evening. The nanny will also be responsible for driving the children to and from extracurricular activities, so a driver with their own reliable vehicle is essential. Mileage will be reimbursed for all work-related travel. The ideal candidate will be organised, energetic, and confident caring for children of different ages, with a warm and positive approach that helps build a strong relationship with the family.
The position is Monday to Friday from 2:00pm to 7:00pm and the position offers $40+ per hour, depending on experience.
