A family based in Santa Monica is seeking a full-time nanny to provide dedicated care for their newborn. Their ideal candidate is a highly experienced infant nanny who is confident supporting a young baby through the earliest stages of development. The family is looking for someone calm, nurturing, and confident with hands-on newborn care, including feeding, soothing, contact naps, and establishing healthy early routines.
The ideal candidate will have strong newborn experience and a solid understanding of infant developmental milestones. Daily responsibilities will focus entirely on the baby’s care and wellbeing, including maintaining a safe and structured environment that supports growth and consistency. The nanny will also be responsible for tracking developmental progress and communicating updates with the parents in a clear and supportive way, ensuring continuity of care.
In addition to direct childcare, duties will include maintaining the baby’s nursery, managing baby laundry, and cleaning and sterilising bottles and all baby-related items. The family is seeking someone reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised, and nurturing environment for their newborn.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a professional newborn or infant nanny
Strong hands-on experience with babies in the first year of life
Confident supporting feeding routines, soothing, and sleep routines
Understanding of infant developmental milestones and tracking progress
Experience maintaining nursery hygiene and baby-related organisation
Ability to communicate clearly and regularly with parents
Calm, nurturing, and highly reliable approach
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
This is a Monday to Friday position, 40 hours per week.
Compensation is $35/hr.
