Family based in Chelsea, London | SW10 is seeking a fluent French speaking Nanny to join them in a sole charge role caring for their baby girl on a full-time basis. This position is well suited to a professional and nurturing nanny who is confident managing all aspects of infant care independently, as the parents work from home on occasion but will remain largely hands-off during working hours. The role involves complete responsibility for the child’s daily routine, including feeding, nap schedules, hygiene, dressing, playtime, and supporting early development through age-appropriate educational activities and stimulating engagement. The nanny will be expected to create a safe, calm, and structured environment that encourages the child’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development, while also planning indoor and outdoor activities such as walks, local outings, and sensory play. Strong communication with the parents is important to ensure consistency in routines and to support the child’s evolving needs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and experienced with babies, with a genuine interest in early years development and the ability to adapt to a changing routine.
The position runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, and requires candidates to hold a valid Right to Work in the UK. A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate is preferred and prior sole charge experience with infants is highly desirable.
Salary up to £22/hr gross.
