A family based in Hudson Yards, New York City is looking for a warm, experienced nanny to care for their baby. They are especially interested in someone with a background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) who understands infant development and can bring both structure and creativity to the baby’s day. The role focuses on building strong daily routines, encouraging early developmental milestones, and creating a nurturing environment where the baby can feel secure and stimulated. As the baby grows into solids and more structured routines, the nanny will play an important role in shaping healthy habits and age-appropriate experiences.
Responsibilities:
Providing full daily care for one baby
Supporting feeding, nap, and sleep routines in a consistent and nurturing way
Engaging the baby in age-appropriate developmental activities and play
Encouraging early learning through interaction, reading, music, and sensory activities
Preparing bottles and managing feeding schedules
Preparing healthy meals for the child once solids are introduced
Cleaning and sterilising bottles and feeding equipment
Managing children’s laundry and keeping baby items organised
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of nursery and child-related spaces
Monitoring developmental milestones and communicating updates with parents
Creating a safe, calm, and stimulating environment throughout the day
Requirements:
Background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred
Experience caring for infants in a professional setting
Strong understanding of infant development and routines
Reliable, nurturing, and proactive approach to childcare
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $35+ per hour
