First-time parents in Manhattan Beach are seeking a warm, experienced nanny to care for their baby girl, who will be 6 months old when the position begins in September. Both parents work from home, so they are looking for a nanny who is confident taking the lead during the day while maintaining a collaborative and respectful relationship with the family.
The family would love to find someone who can help establish healthy routines, encourage developmental milestones, and bring a calm, positive presence to their home. This is not a household management role, the focus is on providing exceptional care for their daughter and supporting her growth through attentive interaction, age-appropriate activities, and consistency. As first-time parents, they are hoping to find a nanny who can offer both experience and reassurance while becoming a trusted part of their daughter’s early years.
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive daily care for a 6-month-old baby girl
Establishing and maintaining age-appropriate feeding, nap, and play routines
Supporting developmental milestones through engaging, age-appropriate activities
Encouraging sensory exploration, language development, and early learning through play
Preparing bottles, baby meals, and snacks as appropriate
Managing nursery organisation and ensuring baby supplies are stocked and organised
Handling baby laundry and keeping baby-related areas tidy and well maintained
Taking the baby on walks and outings appropriate for her age and stage of development
Monitoring developmental progress and communicating updates with parents
Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment each day
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Start Date: September
Compensation: $35–$40 per hour
