A HNW family based in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is seeking an experienced live-in nanny to care for their 6-month-old baby boy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional nanny with a strong understanding of infant development, routines, nutrition, and age-appropriate activities. The family is looking for someone warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about supporting a child’s early years while working within a fully staffed household where childcare remains the nanny’s primary focus.
The ideal candidate will be confident caring for an infant through important developmental stages and enjoy creating engaging experiences that encourage learning, curiosity, and growth. The family values consistency and would love to find someone who can establish and maintain healthy routines while providing a nurturing and stimulating environment. Travel is an important part of the role, so flexibility and a willingness to accompany the family when required are essential. Fluent English is required, and bilingual French would be a welcome bonus, though it is not essential.
Responsibilities:
Providing full daily care for a 6-month-old baby boy
Maintaining consistent feeding, nap, and developmental routines
Supporting key developmental milestones through age-appropriate play and activities
Planning educational and engaging experiences that encourage learning and exploration
Preparing bottles, meals, and snacks as appropriate for the child’s age and stage
Managing all nursery-related duties and ensuring baby supplies are organised and stocked
Handling baby laundry and maintaining an organised nursery environment
Keeping all baby-related areas clean, tidy, and developmentally appropriate
Packing and preparing for family travel and accompanying the family when required
Working collaboratively with parents and household staff to ensure seamless childcare support
Requirements:
Extensive infant care experience
Strong knowledge of child development, routines, and infant nutrition
Fluent English required
Bilingual French preferred but not essential
EU passport and legal right to work in France are essential
Comfortable travelling internationally with the family
Professional, discreet, and able to work within a fully staffed household
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 45 hours per week
Travel: Required
Additional Hours: May be required during travel periods, with additional time off provided in lieu
Compensation: €25 per hour
