A friendly family based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, is seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced full-time nanny to look after their two young children, aged 3 and 1. The role is Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and will involve a mix of nursery support, sole charge care, and shared care alongside parents when working from home. The ideal candidate will be confident managing the daily routines of both a toddler and a baby, with responsibilities including nursery drop-offs and pick-ups for the 3-year-old (who attends nursery three days per week), supporting structured daily schedules, preparing healthy meals for the children, handling children’s laundry, keeping play areas and bedrooms tidy and organised, and planning engaging, age-appropriate activities at home and in the local area such as park visits and playgroups. The family is looking for someone warm, proactive, and organised who can provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment and become a valued part of their family life. Salary is £16–£18 gross per hour depending on experience.
