We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Montessori Nanny in Antioch, CA to provide high-quality, developmentally focused care for a toddler and a newborn. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Montessori principles and early childhood development, along with proven experience caring for infants and toddlers simultaneously.
Responsibilities include providing attentive daily childcare, supporting age-appropriate learning and independence, engaging children in educational play and developmental activities, and attending classes and extracurricular activities. Additional duties include light housekeeping related to the children, managing children’s laundry, preparing healthy meals and snacks, cooking for the children, driving the children to appointments and activities, and purchasing essential children’s items as needed. The nanny should be proactive, organized, safety-focused, and able to create a calm, stimulating, and supportive environment that encourages growth and independence.
The position requires working Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Hourly rate is $40–$42 per hour.
