A professional family in Stamford, Connecticut is seeking an experienced live-in nanny to support the care of their two children, aged 7 and 9 years old. This role is ideal for a professional who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working in a collaborative, hands-on household. The family is looking for a nanny who can manage daily routines, support school and extracurricular schedules, and provide a structured and nurturing environment for the children.
The nanny will be responsible for assisting with morning routines and school preparation, managing school pick-ups, and providing transportation to after-school activities. Additional responsibilities include children’s laundry, tidying their rooms, maintaining cleanliness in children’s areas and common spaces, assisting with evening routines and bedtime, and providing occasional weekend coverage if available. The ideal candidate will be flexible, attentive, and capable of supporting a busy household while keeping spaces organized and the children’s schedules on track.
This is a live-in nanny position, offering private basement accommodation with a bathroom and kitchen. The schedule is Monday through Friday, split shifts from 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM, with flexibility as needed. The family offers $30 gross per hour.
