A family in Toronto, Canada is seeking a highly experienced Norland-trained nanny (or equivalent qualified) to care for their newborn. This role combines sole and shared charge responsibilities alongside Mum and is ideal for a confident, warm, and gentle professional with recent newborn experience. The nanny will provide attentive, developmentally focused care, supporting early learning and attending baby classes and age-appropriate activities.
Flexibility is essential, as the family travels to Europe and the USA. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of early childhood development, a calm and nurturing approach, and the ability to manage both sole-charge and collaborative care with Mum. Accommodation is provided with a private bedroom and en-suite. Visa sponsorship is available for Norland-qualified candidates only.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full-time care for a newborn on both sole and shared charge basis with Mum
Support early development through sensory play, language exposure, and age-appropriate activities
Attend baby classes and participate in age-related outings and activities
Manage all nursery and baby-related tasks, including feeding, diapering, sleep routines, and sterilizing bottles
Maintain a clean, organized nursery and baby equipment
Travel with the family as needed, ensuring consistent care during trips
Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child’s progress and daily routines
Requirements:
Norland qualification or equivalent recognized childcare qualification
Recent newborn experience in a professional setting
Confident, proactive, and gentle approach to infant care
Flexibility to travel internationally with the family
Strong organizational and communication skills

Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
$100,000 per year
