This short-term position is ideal for a professional doula who excels in nurturing families during the postpartum recovery period, offering both emotional reassurance and practical newborn care guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide postpartum support for the mother, including education, reassurance, and recovery-focused care
Offer newborn care guidance, including soothing techniques, sleep support, and feeding assistance
Support breastfeeding or bottle-feeding routines as needed
Assist with light newborn-related household tasks to support family adjustment
Share evidence-based knowledge on newborn care, maternal recovery, and infant development
Create a calm, supportive environment during the early postpartum period
Ideal Candidate
Certified or experienced Postpartum Doula
Knowledgeable in newborn care and postpartum recovery
Calm, empathetic, and professional
Comfortable working part-time hours over a short-term engagement
Reliable and communicative
Schedule & Compensation
3–4 days per week
4–5 hours per day
