Montessori Nanny – Chelsea, London
A private family in Chelsea, London is seeking an experienced Montessori-trained nanny to provide attentive, developmentally focused care for their 5-month-old baby. This is a live-in nanny position offering a private, self-contained apartment and a long-term opportunity for a professional nanny who is passionate about Montessori principles and early childhood development.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, organized, and proactive, with the ability to thoughtfully adapt routines and activities as the child grows.
Key Responsibilities
Montessori-Focused Infant Care
Plan and implement age-appropriate Montessori activities to support cognitive, physical, and emotional development
Encourage independence, curiosity, and exploration in a safe environment
Observe developmental milestones and adjust routines accordingly
Nursery & Child-Related Duties
Maintain a clean, calm, and organized nursery environment
Manage the baby’s belongings and wardrobe, including organizing clothing and supplies
Handle nursery duties such as tidying, baby laundry, and equipment organization
Support feeding, naps, and daily routines aligned with the child’s developmental stage
Routine Management
Thoughtfully adjust schedules, activities, and care approaches as the baby grows
Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, routines, and milestones
Qualifications & Requirements
Montessori training or strong Montessori experience (required)
Proven experience caring for infants
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Professional, discreet, and reliable
Strong understanding of infant development and routines
Excellent communication skills
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
Salary: £65,000–£70,000 gross per annum
