Family in Bicester, Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced and nurturing Governess. The role centres around the educational development and well-being of two children aged 13 and 6, in a warm and caring household that values education, structure, and emotional support. The successful candidate will work closely with the family to provide consistent guidance, educational mentoring, and gentle behavioural support, particularly for the eldest child. The Governess will also assist with coordination of extracurricular activities and school routines. This is a permanent, full-time live-in role. The family will provide comfortable private accommodation within a rented four-bedroom property in Oxfordshire. As the family live in the countryside, a driving licence is essential for school drop-offs, pick-ups, and extracurricular activities. The family will provide a car for professional use if required.
Working Days & Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day
Salary: £23 – £30 gross per hour
Starting Date: 1st January 2026
