A family in Venice, CA is seeking an educationally focused nanny to provide exceptional, developmentally supportive care for their two young children aged 3 and 2 years old. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient, and knowledgeable about early childhood development, with a passion for creating a structured, engaging, and screen-free environment that encourages learning through play and exploration. Responsibilities include providing full-day care for the younger child, safely transporting the older child from preschool using the family vehicle, and planning engaging afternoon activities and outings that support social, emotional, and cognitive development. The nanny will prepare simple, healthy vegetarian meals and snacks for the children, manage children’s laundry, maintain organised daily routines, and keep play areas, bedrooms, and children’s belongings tidy and well maintained. Additional duties include supporting nap schedules and calm transitions throughout the day, guiding the children through big emotions with developmentally appropriate approaches, and fostering a positive environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and kindness. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. Compensation: $35 per hour.
