Portuguese speaking Nanny needed for two children aged 6 and 3 in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. They are looking for someone who can provide a stimulating and nurturing environment, blending educational indoor activities (such as reading, singing, arts and crafts, baking, and music) with plenty of outdoor play in their large garden and countryside walks. During school holidays, you’ll also help arrange playdates, activities, and outings to keep the children happy, social, and safe. As well as general care of the children and keeping all common areas clean and tidy (kitchen, children’s rooms, playroom, etc) and meal prep, the duties are to include keeping on top of the family laundry. There will be the possibility of occasional proxy parenting, when the parents are away for business. This will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime. There may also be the opportunity to travel with the family. You must be a confident and careful driver, with a clean licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be reimbursed. The hours will be 07.30-17.30, Monday-Friday (50 hours/week). Salary: £17 gross per hour.
