Family in Colchester, Essex, is looking for an experienced and reliable Nanny Housekeeper to care for their three children, aged 8, 6 and 4. The ideal nanny will be nurturing, proactive, and confident in both childcare and household responsibilities. They should have prior experience working with children and take pride in delivering the highest standard of care. The nanny will be responsible for taking and collecting the children from a local school and supporting their after-school routine. This includes preparing nutritious snacks, helping with homework, assisting with mealtimes, and facilitating creative, engaging play. You will plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support the children’s development and well-being, while also encouraging their independence and curiosity. The role also involves coordinating after-school clubs, playdates, and occasional outings, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment. In addition to childcare, this role involves helping to manage the household and maintain a warm, welcoming environment. Housekeeping duties will include general tidying, bed making, wardrobe organisation, laundry including ironing, cleaning, managing household supplies, running errands, and assisting with other daily tasks to help keep the home running smoothly.
You must be a confident driver with a clean driving licence.
Days/hours: Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
Start Date: July 2025
Pay: £18 gross per hour
