Private Family living on a cattle ranch in Southeast Queensland is seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-in Special Needs Nanny to care for their daughter.
Responsibilities:
- Providing full-time care, including daily routines, hygiene, meals, and structured activitie
- Implementing sensory-friendly strategies and behavioral support techniques
- Encouraging emotional regulation and using positive reinforcement methods
- Engaging in educational and developmental activities tailored to her needs
- Assisting with therapy programs as needed
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children with Autism, ASD, or behavioral challenges
- Strong understanding of sensory processing techniques and behavior management
- Patient, calm, and adaptable to changing needs
- Comfortable with rural living and working in a family environment
- Relevant qualifications in childcare, special education, or therapy
Schedule is 5 days per week (10 hours per day)
Compensation : $ 90,000 per year
