Bay area family based in Sausalito is seeking an experienced, engaging Nanny/Family Assistant to help with their two kids, ages 7-years and 5-years, and help with house duties when the kids are in school.
Responsibilities
Nounou
- 6am-9am – help get kids ready for school, walk dog and drive to school
- 1:30pm-7pm – pick up kids from school, drive to afterschool activities, help prepare dinner, get ready for bed
- Light meal prep and preparing snacks and lunches, cleaning up the kitchen after use
- Making simple and healthy meals, keeping in mind the family food allergies
- Driving the kids
- Taking to after school activities
- Helping with homework
- Kids laundry
- Helping tidy kids areas and keeping them on top of their responsibilities
Employé(e) de Maison
- Additional hours offered during the day for added duties such as:
- Grocery shopping
- Home organization projects
- Keeping the home tidy – the family does have a housekeeper so duties would not be heavy cleaning
- Keeping track of home inventory, stocking the home with needed essentials, and buying more when needed
- Bringing packages in and doing returns when needed
This position includes travel as the family also has a home in NYC. Candidate must be available to travel for the whole summer and additional trips.
Schedule will be Monday through Friday, with a split schedule from 6am-9am and 1:30pm-7pm.
