Washington DC – A busy family in Kalorama Heights is seeking an experienced, proactive, and flexible Live-In Nanny to join their well-supported household team. The family consists of two full-time working parents (who work from home) and four children: ages 8, 6, 4, and 7 months. Three of the children attend school full-time, leaving primary care for the baby during the day. Other staff includes 3 nannies, housekeeper, chef, and house manger.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide loving, hands-on care for all children, with a primary focus on the infant during school hours
Manage school pickups, after-school activities, and evening routines for the older children
Collaborate seamlessly with the family’s team of full-time nannies, house manager, housekeepers, and chef
Ensure smooth transitions throughout the day, proactively anticipating the children’s needs and maintaining a structured routine
Assist with light meal prep, homework support, and bedtime routines
Travel with the family twice a year: Spring Break (2 weeks) and Ireland (1 week in summer)
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience
Valid driver’s license (school pickups required)
Ability to work closely with other household staff
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules
Confident in a fast-paced household with multiple children

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1 PM – 9 PM
Salary: $90,000 to $100,000+/year, based on experience
