A family in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire is seeking a reliable and caring nanny to support their two young children aged 4 years and 1 year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nanny who enjoys working with both toddlers and preschool-aged children and is confident managing a varied day. The eldest child attends preschool daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm, so care during school hours will be primarily focused on the 1-year-old, with some shared care before and after preschool. The nanny will be responsible for providing attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care, planning engaging age-appropriate activities, supporting routines, and encouraging learning through play, outings, and exploration. Additional duties will include all standard nanny duties related to the children, such as preparing meals and snacks, tidying play areas, managing children’s laundry, and supporting transitions throughout the day. The role is Monday to Thursday from 9:00am–5:00pm and Friday from 10:00am–2:00pm, with an additional 2 flexible hours per week to be used as needed around mum’s meetings and added to the contracted hours. A driver is essential, and the family will provide a car for work use, making this an excellent position for a confident driver nanny. End of February start.
