After School Nanny needed in Summit
Warm Summit family seeking an after-school Nanny to assist them with G7 from ~2/3-6pm, Monday through Friday.
Hours:
Monday-Friday ~3-6pm
Family can increase to 2-6pm if candidate desires extra hours, with additional tasks (see below)
Responsibilities:
-All daily care tasks related to G7
-Transportation from school, to activities, etc
-Creating an engaging and stimulating environment
-Homework help and educational enrichment
– Outdoor time
-Full day care hours available for candidates on school closures/half days
*if candidates would like more hours, family is open to adding light tidying, taking grandma to the grocery store, laundry, changing linens, etc*
Family/Household Notes:
-G7 is very independent and loves learning
-Parents would appreciate updated communication regarding pickup, arrival to an activity, or general progress in G7’s tasks/skills
Ideal Candidate:
-Reliable, punctual, positive, bubbly, trustworthy, engaging, kind, creative, and clear in their communication
-Enforces boundaries in a firm and loving way
-Balances “letting kids be kids” with after school duties being met and having diverse learning opportunities
-Well-versed in G7’s age group and unique needs
-Mandarin Speaker (nice to have as grandparents visit, but not a requirement)
Compensation:
– Hourly salary based on candidate’s experience.
– Guaranteed hours, sick leave, major federal holidays off
-Family vehicle is available or Reimbursement for use of a personal vehicle if candidate is more comfortable in their own
Requirements:
– 3-5 years of childcare experience
– Eligible to work in the US
– Reliable transportation
– Clean driving record and criminal background
– Fluent English
– CPR/First Aid Certified
-Up to date on vaccinations (generally recommended adult vaccines and seasonal flu)
