Oakland, CA – Seeking an experienced and compassionate Newborn Care Specialist to support a family during the recovery period following a scheduled C-section on November 22, 2024. The position will provide overnight care for our newborn, with a tentative start date of November 25 or 26. This is a short-term position expected to last 2-4 weeks, with potential for extension based on the family’s needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, overnight newborn care, including feeding, changing, soothing, and monitoring
- Assist with establishing a sleep routine and ensuring a calm and safe sleep environment
- Be available to support the mother if needed during her recovery
- Maintain a tidy sleep area and handle any necessary light newborn-related tasks
Horaires de travail: Overnight, approximately 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 7 days per week (hours negotiable based on candidate’s availability)
Compensation: $40-$50 per hour
