Loving and Playful Nanny Needed in Pleasant Hill!

Location: Pleasant Hill, CA, 94523

Compensation: $30-$33/hour commensurate with experience paid sick days, holidays, and vacation days, and a family vehicle to use or mileage reimbursement at the IRS mileage rate.

Schedule: 3 or 4 days a week, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

 

Household:

A warm and welcoming family is searching for a nanny to care for their sweet 7-month-old baby 3 or 4 days a week (the family is flexible on the days), ideally starting at the end of January or early February. This will start as a 6-month position, but the family will know in February if the position will extend into a long-term role (at least one year).
They live in a peaceful residential setting, surrounded by a beautiful, walkable neighborhood with easy access to various parks.
Their two-story home includes a backyard and is home to two wonderful, friendly dogs. Both parents primarily work outside the home.
Their little one is cheerful, social and loves to play and chat. She’s recently started crawling, attempting to stand, and is enjoying her introduction to solid foods!

 

Ideal candidate:

The would love to work with someone who is truly passionate about caring for infants, familiar with infant milestones, and comfortable planning engaging developmentally appropriate activities.
Someone who can foster the little one’s social growth by organizing socialization opportunities, playdates, and park meetups, utilizing the family vehicle for outings and potential classes would be appreciated.
Their little one thrives on a schedule! Lead the charge in planning engaging and fun activities around feeding and nap scheduled.

 

Duties:

Duties will include everything infant-related including bottle preparation and feeding, assistance with solids when introduced, engaging the baby in age and developmentally-appropriate activities, reading, going on walks, driving to the park and activities, baby’s laundry/dishes, and tidying up after baby.

 

Requirements:

At least 3 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references
Covid vaccinated
Valid driver’s license and a strong driving record
Legal work authorization in the U.S.
English fluency
