A family in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Nanny to care for their 9-month-old baby boy. They are seeking a warm, nurturing, and experienced childcare professional who is fluent in both Mandarin and English. The ideal candidate will have a gentle, responsive parenting style and a strong understanding of infant development, with the ability to confidently support early milestones through age-appropriate care and activities.
Responsibilities include all baby-related care such as feeding, diapering, sleep routine support, and engaging the child in developmentally appropriate activities that encourage cognitive, motor, and sensory growth. The nanny will also be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment, supporting the baby’s daily routine, and ensuring consistency and structure throughout the day. A thoughtful, attentive approach to infant care is essential, along with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the parents.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with 40 hours guaranteed per week.
Hourly rate is $40–$50 gross depending on experience, plus benefits.
The family is open to candidates across the US and can provide a private apartment in the Palo Alto area for a non-local nanny.
