Newborn Care Specialist Needed Starting April 2024!
Location: Mill Valley, CA, 94941
Schedule: The schedule for this overnight position will be 5 to 7 nights per week for a 12 to 20-week contract, depending on the candidate’s preference and availability. Their goal is to get assistance through sleep shaping, conditioning and training (and support through any regressions that may occur). This position starts mid-April 2024.
Household:
- A lovely family based in Marin County, CA (Northern California) seeks a skilled Newborn Care Specialist to join them mid-April 2024.
- The family’s household includes two affectionate and friendly dogs.
Ideal Candidate:
- The family desires a compassionate and professional NCS adept in safe sleep techniques and sleep shaping, conditioning and training.
- Expertise in safe sleep practices, feeding guidance, and overall newborn care experience is highly valued.
- A genuine baby expert who can seamlessly support and assist the parents with the newborn’s care is sought after.
- Amazing and experienced newborn care specialists with comprehensive baby care knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- The family is open to considering postpartum doula candidates for this role, and would love to meet newborn care specialists who are cross- trained as postpartum doulas.
Duties:
- Responsibilities will encompass handling baby laundry, sterilizing bottles, and maintaining a clean and hygienic sleeping area for the baby.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of paid, professional newborn care experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references
- Willingness and ability to be paid by family as a W-2 employee
- Vaccinated and current on the Tdap vaccine
- COVID vaccination is not required for this role.
