Amazing Full-time Nanny Needed in Danville!
Location: Danville, 94526
Compensation: $35-$40/hour DOE + overtime, paid holidays, vacation days, and sick days, and a family vehicle to use or mileage reimbursement at the IRS mileage rate
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 5 or 5:30 pm

A wonderful family in Danville is searching for a full-time nanny to care for their two adorable children, ages 2.5 and 1 year old.
Their 2.5-year-old is sweet and adores playful interactions, enjoys reading, biking, exploring the jungle gym, and engaging in various activities.
The 1-year-old is cheerful, full of wonderful energy, and steadily exploring the world by following in his older brother’s footsteps. He’s affectionate, drawn to cuddly toys, loves outdoor ventures, and has a curiosity to explore.
The parents prefer a routine approach, following their children’s cues.
They work from separate upstairs spaces while the children’s play areas and bedrooms are downstairs, offering ample room for play. They also have lots of great outdoor space both in their front and backyards, live in a walkable neighborhood and close to playgrounds and parks.
Ideal Candidate:
A very nurturing, engaging, and playful candidate who is creative and great at coming up with both fun and educational activities.
Someone proactive in creating learning-based activities and enjoys planning the day with structured and non-structured play activities.
Comfortable interacting at the children’s level, fostering an environment of fun, care, and learning.
Strong communication skills, open to sharing feedback, and collaborating with the parents.
Someone with ECE units/experience working in a preschool is a plus, but not required.
Duties:
Engaging in outdoor activities like walks, bike riding, park visits, going to outings and classes, and coordinating playdates.
Encouraging structured yet play-based learning activities that lean into with the parents’ interest in education. This could involve following a provided curriculum or contributing your own ideas.
Managing all child-related duties, including meal preparation and laundry, and maintaining a well-organized children’s environment.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references
Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and a strong driving record
Covid vaccinated and current on Tdap and Flu vaccines
Can make at least a one-year commitment
Legal work authorization in the U.S.
English fluency
