Your role will pivot between being the anchor in a child’s daily life and a companion on voyages across the globe. We are seeking a Travel Nanny who’s organized, reliable, and ready to embrace the joy of this unique position with professionalism and a touch of fun.
Please Note: Local Austin candidates are preferred but the client will consider out of area candidates who are a strong fit for the role.
Job Responsibilities:
Facilitate and participate in activities that promote the toddler’s physical, emotional, and developmental growth.
Pack and prepare for trips with the family, ensuring the toddler has everything he needs for a comfortable experience.
Organize and lead educational games and activities to encourage learning and exploration.
Drive the toddler to and from activities as requested.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and orderly home environment, including light tidying, laundry, and dishwashing.
Assist with meal preparations and feeding routines, ensuring toddler’s nutritional needs are met.
Optional: Assist with light and simple meal prep for the family.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 3+ years of experience as a professional Nanny with a natural ability to foster a child’s growth and happiness.
Ideal candidates will have experience traveling with their previous employers.
Must be comfortable and willing to drive the toddler when requested.
A bubbly and engaging personality with the stamina to keep up with an active toddler.
Must be flexible to adapt to changing schedules and tasks with a positive mindset.
Must be current on vaccinations, including Covid-19.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must have strong references from past employers.
Compensation and Benefits:
$40++ per hour | DOE

10 days of paid vacation per year
