A family based in Paris is seeking a Native English-speaking rota nanny to care for their two children, aged 4 years and 18 months. This is a shared-care role working closely alongside a highly involved mother within a fully staffed household. The family follows Montessori principles and a gentle parenting approach, and they are looking for someone who can complement this style with confidence, warmth, and consistency. The role also involves regular travel with the family.
Key responsibilities include full nursery duties (excluding main cooking, which is handled by a chef), managing child-related laundry and wardrobe organization, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the children’s spaces. The nanny will also be responsible for toy rotation, planning age-appropriate developmental activities, supporting daily routines, and preparing simple snacks or reheating meals as needed. A strong understanding of early years development and educational approaches is essential, along with the ability to work comfortably in a fully staffed, formal household.
This is a rota position, typically structured as 1–2 weeks on/off, with occasional extended periods during family travel. Accommodation is provided during working weeks. The ideal candidate will be discreet, adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and confident working collaboratively within a team environment.
Salary is £60,000–£85,000 gross per annum depending on experience.
