Private family in Bedford, NY is seeking an experienced nanny to care for their 18-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a home where a parent is occasionally present and will feel confident taking full responsibility for the child during working hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for the family’s toddler throughout the day
- Engage the child in age-appropriate activities that support learning, growth, and creativity
- Prepare the child for and put her down for daily naps
- Feed pre-prepared meals (lunch and dinner) and clean bottles, dishes, and related items
- Handle all child-related tidying and organization, including the child’s bedroom and playroom
- Manage the child’s laundry from start to finish
- Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for the child at all times
- Travel domestically with the family on occasion, as requested
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm
Salary: $35/hour, DOE
