Private family in Oxshott, Surrey is seeking a live-out governess who is brilliant with young children. Schedule would be Monday to Friday, from approximately 9am-5pm daily. The governess’ main focus will be on a 4.5-year-old boy. The family are keen to find someone with a primary teaching background and who has some experience with home-schooling as well. The children already have a full-time nanny, so expect some shared-care situations and some sole-charge. The governess should be a native English speaker. The family travel regularly and candidates must be open to joining the family on extended trips abroad, and should be flexible to accommodate changing schedules and requirements. The governess must be a confident and safe driver and should also have previous experience in a private household.
