A private family in Woodside, California is seeking an experienced and engaging Mandarin-speaking nanny to provide high-quality care for their 2-year-old child. This is a live-out nanny position and is open to local candidates only who are already based in or near Woodside, CA. The family is looking for a professional nanny who is confident, nurturing, and developmentally focused, with a genuine passion for toddler care and early childhood development.
The nanny will be responsible for sole-charge care during on-duty weeks, supporting the toddler’s daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and developmental milestones. Responsibilities include planning and leading age-appropriate activities, encouraging language development through Mandarin immersion, engaging in active outdoor play, attending classes and outings, preparing meals for the child, and maintaining a structured yet flexible routine. This role follows a ROTA schedule of one week on / one week off, making it ideal for a nanny seeking balance and longer stretches of time off.
