A warm and professional family in Chelsea, New York City is seeking an experienced, proactive nanny to care for one toddler. One parent works from home, so the nanny should be collaborative, communicative, and comfortable working alongside a present parent while still confidently taking the lead in managing the child’s day-to-day routine and activities. The position is focused primarily on childcare and child-related responsibilities, with an emphasis on early childhood development and enriching daily experiences. The ideal candidate will support developmental milestones through age-appropriate play, learning activities, and consistent routines. Responsibilities include planning stimulating outings to local parks, libraries, classes, and neighborhood activities, as well as coordinating playdates to encourage social growth. The nanny will maintain the child’s daily schedule, including meals, naps, and transitions, while ensuring child-related spaces remain clean, organized, and well maintained. This full-time, Monday–Friday role (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and compensation is $35/hour.
